WHO CONTROLS THE CHAIN OF EXAM MALPRACTICE

Examination malpractice has consistently remained a bane of Nigerian educational system; it seems that certificate issued to graduates in Nigeria is no more valuable than the pieces of paper on which they are printed. Examination malpractice has become a prolific business enterprise branded with the name “SPECIAL CENTER” aided and abetted by corrupt examination officials, unscrupulous school proprietors, protected by greedy security officials and financed by parent. The scourge has become the order of the day such that it takes a high degree of courage and deep sense of patriotism for anyone to discuss it.
A campaign against this hydra headed monster is a call to awaken every stakeholder in our education sector which include but not limited to the following:
  1. Students
  2. Teachers
  3. School Proprietors
  4. Examination Bodies
  5. Judiciary/Law courts
  6. Security Agencies
  7. Media
